Graduate profile |
Based on modern approaches to the scientific description of the language, graduates will extend their system knowledge of the Spanish language. Synchronic study of linguistic phenomena is also enriched with diachronic aspects, according to current linguistic tendencies, the graduates will acquire knowledge of contemporary Spanish syntax, linguistics and pragmalinguistics. Within the literary disciplines, the graduates will extend and deepen their basic knowledge of literary history and text work acquired during their Bachelor's studies, especially regarding the earlier stages of Spanish literature and Hispanic literature. Owing to their advanced linguistic, cultural and communication training, the graduates will be able to find employment wherever a public or private employer requires a high level of linguistic knowledge, intercultural competences and independent, critical and creative thinking such as a translator, editor, liaison officer with the Spanish speaking environment, public relations, etc. Thanks to the dual specialisation of the programme, the graduates will find greater opportunities on the labour market. |
