WELCOME TO THE STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMME
 

Study abroad constitutes a highly recommended component of both the undergraduate and graduate study programmes. Students are encouraged to undertake their study abroad placement in one of the established partner institutions (details of these opportunities are available from http://www.ff.jcu.cz/cs/partnerske-univerzity or from http://www.ff.jcu.cz/documents/10832/13394/partnerske_uni_dle_oboru/d8179509-1e47-49c7-947d-f37ff76f599d); yet are not limited to these. Study abroad enables students to broaden their horizons beyond the scope of their current study programme, puts their learning into practice, and further develops their ability to apply themselves to a wide range of study tasks across diverse academic environments. During the study abroad placement, students at all times develop their ability to conduct themselves professionally and perform independently and responsibly. The experience gained increases students´ employability and assists them in entering the job market.
 

• The Department of English Studies has a network of Erasmus+ partner universities at which students are encouraged to take up their study placement. These institutions offer programmes especially developed and tailored to students of the English Studies Programme. See the list below:
